Overview
The µPD7752 is NEC’s speech-synthesis device found in the PC-6001 mkII, PC-6601, and their SR successors. Computer firmware and model-specific speech data work with the chip to support the BASIC TALK facility. It is distinct from the machines’ AY-3-8910 or YM2203 music hardware.
